The upcoming Xiaomi 17 smartphone has reportedly appeared on Amazon India, revealing its key specifications and potential pricing. This early listing suggests a powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 50MP Leica triple camera.
The Xiaomi 17 smartphone has reportedly surfaced on Amazon India, with a listing on the Indian deal sharing platform Desidime revealing its key specifications and an initial price. This early appearance, shared by Desidime, points to a powerful flagship device making its way to the Indian market soon.
According to the Desidime report, the Xiaomi 17 will come equipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It's listed with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage in a Black finish, suggesting a premium offering.
The display is specified as a 6.3-inch CrystalRes 1-120Hz AMOLED panel, boasting a peak brightness of 3500 nits. For photography, the phone is tipped to feature a 50MP Leica Triple Camera setup.
Battery specifications include a substantial 6330mAh capacity, supported by 100W HyperCharge technology. The device will reportedly run on HyperOS 3.
The Desidime listing also shows a striking price point for the Xiaomi 17. It indicates an original price of ₹1,19,999, with a significantly discounted price of ₹66,249. This substantial difference could suggest an aggressive introductory offer, a placeholder price, or even an error in the early listing.
If the ₹66,249 price proves accurate for the 12GB/512GB variant, the Xiaomi 17 could become a very competitive option in India's premium smartphone segment. Even at a higher price, the combination of a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 3500-nit display, and 100W charging presents strong features on paper for demanding users.
While these details are promising, it is important to remember that this is an unconfirmed listing. Official launch dates, full specifications, and final pricing for the Indian market are yet to be announced by Xiaomi. Indian buyers will need to wait for an official announcement to confirm these specifications and the actual retail price.
