Nubia V90 Pro Leak Tips 108MP Camera, 512GB Storage, and Headphone Jack

The Nubia V90 Pro has reportedly surfaced in leaked promotional images, tipped by well-known leaker Evan Blass and reported by Gizchina.com. These images show a smartphone with a 108MP main camera and a familiar design that includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The leaked images suggest the V90 Pro takes cues from Nubia's own V80 Design. It's said to be quite slim at just 7.7mm thick and features a modern punch-hole camera on the front. We see it in burgundy, black or dark gray, and light blue finishes, with the burgundy option potentially reminding some users of Apple's latest Pro iPhones.

A distinct red power button is visible on the side, a common design touch on Nubia devices. There's also another button below the SIM tray, though its function isn't clear from the leak. The rear sports a large camera island, prominently displaying the "108MP" label.

108MP Camera and a 6.75-inch Display

While the camera module clearly marks a 108MP main sensor, the leak doesn't confirm if all three visible openings on the island house actual camera sensors. For the front, the phone is tipped to have a 6.75-inch display that boasts up to 1,000 nits of brightness. Interestingly, it's also said to support wet finger touch input, which could be quite handy during India's monsoon season or just for everyday splashes.

More Storage and a Welcome Headphone Jack

Nubia is reportedly planning a version with a generous 512GB of storage. This would be a significant upgrade, doubling the maximum storage offered by its predecessor and giving users ample space for apps, photos, and videos. Crucially for many Indian buyers, the leaked images confirm the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a USB-C port, a feature often dropped by other manufacturers but still highly valued here.

Durability and What's Still Unknown

The V90 Pro is also said to offer some level of drop resistance and an IP rating, though the exact protection level is not specified yet. What remains largely unknown are key specifications like the processor and RAM details, which are crucial for assessing its performance. Nubia has not yet announced a launch date, official pricing, or market availability, especially for India.

What This Means for Indian Buyers

On paper, the Nubia V90 Pro looks like a practical update rather than a complete overhaul. The 108MP camera and 512GB storage are good points, and the inclusion of the headphone jack is a definite plus for value-conscious Indian consumers who prefer wired audio or don't want to buy adapters. However, without knowing the chipset and, most importantly, the price, it's difficult to gauge its competitiveness against other devices already on sale in India.

Potential buyers in India will need to wait for more concrete details, particularly around the processor and local pricing, before deciding if the Nubia V90 Pro is worth waiting for. If Nubia can strike a good balance, it could be an interesting option, especially for those prioritising storage and traditional audio connectivity.
