Google's Gemini 4 Argon Rolls Out to Antigravity for AI Pro Users

Google's latest flagship AI model, Gemini 4 Argon, is now rolling out to Antigravity, the company's AI coding tool. This significant update is available for users subscribed to AI Pro and AI Ultra tiers, according to a report by 9to5Google.

Gemini 4 Argon, which Google announced in late September and has seen a wide rollout to users earlier this week, now extends its capabilities to the Antigravity platform. Antigravity is described by Google as an agentic development platform, designed to assist developers in coding and building applications by leveraging AI and intelligent agents.

For Indian developers and tech companies already utilising Google's AI ecosystem, this update brings access to the company's most advanced AI model for software development. Many startups and established firms in India work on projects requiring sophisticated coding assistance, and the integration of Gemini 4 Argon could streamline complex development cycles.

Google also clarified that subscribers will get a "separate weekly-only Argon quota" which operates in addition to the existing quota for Gemini 3.8 Flash. This flexibility allows users to choose the model best suited for their specific coding tasks, whether it's the efficient Flash or the more powerful Argon.

The company stated in a post on Twitter/X that Gemini 4 Argon is "designed to tackle your hardest problems." This suggests that developers working on highly intricate or resource-intensive coding challenges will find the new model particularly useful within Antigravity.

This rollout means that AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers now have access to a dual-model system, enabling them to leverage different AI capabilities based on their project needs. It's a pragmatic approach, giving developers more control over how they utilise Google's AI resources for coding.
