Oppo has confirmed the India launch date for its Pad Mini Matte Display Edition tablet and Oppo Enco X4 true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones. These devices will be introduced alongside the flagship Oppo Find X10 smartphone series on October 22 at 4:45 pm IST. Dedicated microsites are already live on the Oppo India website, revealing key features and colour options for both the tablet and the earphones.
Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition: Designed for Productivity
The Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition is confirmed to feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which is a powerful choice for a compact tablet. It will come with an 8.8-inch 2.5K OLED display that offers a very smooth 144Hz refresh rate and ultra-slim 2.99mm bezels. The display carries a TV Rheinland certification and boasts a special matte finish. Oppo says this display is designed to deliver less glare and provide a paper-like writing experience, which could be great for digital artists and note-takers using a stylus.
Based on the China variant, the tablet will pack a large 8,000mAh battery that supports 67W fast wired charging. For imaging, it will include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor for video calls. The device could run on the latest Android 16-based ColorOS 16 software.
Oppo Enco X4 TWS: Premium Audio with AI Translation
The Oppo Enco X4 earphones are positioned as Oppo's newest premium audio offering. They are confirmed to feature a dual-driver setup, combining an 11mm dynamic woofer and a 6mm planar tweeter, co-tuned with Danish audio experts Dynaudio. These earbuds will also support lossless audio transmission, spatial audio, and LHDC 5.0, aiming for a high-fidelity listening experience.
For smart features, the Enco X4 will include AI Real-time Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and AI Clear Call voice isolation for clearer conversations. A standout feature is its real-time AI translation, capable of translating live conversations across more than 20 languages directly into your ear. This could be a particularly useful feature for Indian users navigating multiple regional languages.
The earphones are claimed to offer up to 13 hours of battery life on a single charge, extending up to a total of 53 hours with the charging case. They also come with an IP55 rating, making them resistant to dust and water, suitable for workouts or light rain.
Expected Pricing and Availability in India
While the official Indian pricing will be announced at the October 22 launch event, we can get an idea from the China pricing. The Oppo Pad Mini's Chinese variant starts at CNY 3,699, which converts to roughly Rs. 51,000. The Oppo Enco X4 arrived in China at CNY 1,199, translating to approximately Rs. 17,100.
However, it is important to note that Oppo has not yet confirmed whether the Indian variants will retain the exact same specifications and prices as their Chinese counterparts. Indian buyers should wait for the official announcement for precise details on pricing and availability.
