OPPO's Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max flagships are set to launch in India on October 22nd. The series focuses on photography and brings significant upgrades, with pricing tipped to be substantially higher than predecessors.
OPPO is set to launch its Find X10 series in India on October 22nd, introducing the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max models. The launch event is scheduled for 4:45 pm, and it will also include the debut of the OPPO Enco X4 TWS earbuds and the Pad Mini tablet.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the Find X10 series will be among the first Android flagships for 2027. Like previous OPPO Find models, the new lineup emphasizes photography, while also bringing the latest chipsets, large batteries, and premium displays to the table.
OPPO Find X10: Key Specifications and Tipped Price
The standard OPPO Find X10 will feature a 6.59-inch FHD+ display, offering a resolution of 1272×2768 pixels. This panel supports a 144Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. Powering the device is the new MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chipset, built on a 3nm process.
For photography, the Find X10 comes with a substantial camera upgrade. It houses a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera that offers up to 2.8x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. The report notes that both the primary and telephoto cameras are significant upgrades from the Find X9's 50MP dual setup. On the front, there is a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The Find X10 packs a massive 8,000mAh battery, a considerable jump from the Find X9's 7,025mAh cell, which should translate to longer usage times. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Durability is also a focus, with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. The phone will run ColorOS 17 based on Android 17 out of the box.
Regarding pricing, the OPPO Find X10 is tipped to cost Rs 1,29,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. Its predecessor, the Find X9, launched in India at a starting price of Rs 74,999, making the Find X10 significantly more expensive on paper.
Find X10 Pro Max: Triple 200MP Cameras and Flagship Performance
The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is positioned as the top-tier model, notably featuring a triple 200MP camera setup. This includes a 200MP main sensor with up to 120x digital zoom, a 200MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. A 50MP front camera is also present for selfies.
Under the hood, the Pro Max model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, MediaTek's 2nm flagship chipset. This chip is claimed to offer a 61% reduction in multi-core power consumption. The display on the Pro Max is a large 6.78-inch LTPO OLED 1.5K panel, boasting a 1-nit minimum brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 3,600 nits peak brightness.
Like the standard Find X10, the Pro Max also features an 8,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It adds 10W reverse wireless charging support. For protection, it carries IP68, IP69, and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Find X10 Pro Max with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage will reportedly launch at either Rs 1,59,999 or Rs 1,89,999. To put this in perspective, the Find X9 Pro debuted in India at Rs 1,09,999, indicating a substantial price increase for the new Pro Max model.
A New Price Tier for OPPO Flagships in India
The reported pricing for both Find X10 models suggests OPPO's latest flagships will easily cross the Rs 1 lakh mark in India, even if official prices are still unconfirmed. This represents a significant price hike compared to their predecessors, which launched at much lower price points.
OPPO's Find X10 series appears to be aimed squarely at users who prioritize smartphone photography or seek one of the best camera experiences on an Android flagship. The triple 200MP setup on the Pro Max, in particular, sounds impressive on paper for photo enthusiasts.
Given the premium pricing, it would be wise for potential Indian buyers to wait for the official launch and compare the Find X10 series with other Android flagships that are either already available or expected to arrive soon, before making a buying decision.
