Nexal Pad LTE Tablet with Helio G200 Debuts in Malaysia

The Nexal Pad LTE tablet has officially launched in Malaysia, according to Notebookcheck. This expansion follows its initial introduction in the Philippines in September 2026. This new Android 16 tablet packs an 11-inch display, a MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, and a substantial 10,000mAh battery, along with crucial LTE connectivity.

Display and Design Details

On the front, the Nexal Pad LTE sports an 11-inch IPS display, offering a sharp resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. It also comes with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is good for smoother scrolling and general use, and offers a peak brightness of 500 nits.

Design-wise, the tablet measures 7.8mm thick and weighs 500 grams. On the rear, it features a circular camera module that houses a single 13MP sensor and an LED flash. Buyers will have two colour options: Obsidian Grey and Aurora Green.

Helio G200 Chipset and LTE Connectivity

Powering the tablet is the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset, which enables its LTE connectivity. On paper, the Helio G200 is a 6nm octa-core processor featuring two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. This configuration suggests it's designed for handling everyday tasks and light gaming quite well, placing it in the mid-range segment.

For Indian users, the inclusion of LTE connectivity is a significant plus. It means you are not reliant on Wi-Fi for internet access, offering greater flexibility for on-the-go productivity or entertainment.

Battery, Cameras, and Android 16

The Nexal Pad LTE is equipped with a large 10,000mAh battery, which should provide extensive usage time on a single charge. It also supports 33W wired charging, allowing for relatively quick top-ups. For video calls and selfies, the tablet features an 8MP front camera, while the rear houses a 13MP sensor.

The tablet runs Android 16 out of the box, which is the latest stable version of Android, ensuring users get current features and security updates.

Pricing and Potential India Outlook

In Malaysia, the Nexal Pad LTE comes in a single 6GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, priced at RM1,099. This translates to approximately $269, or roughly ₹22,400 based on a direct currency conversion at current rates. A notable detail is that the tablet includes a keyboard in the box, adding significant value for productivity-focused users.

If the Nexal Pad LTE makes its way to India at a similar price point, even accounting for import duties and taxes, it could be a competitive option in the mid-range tablet market. Tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A series or other offerings from brands like Xiaomi or Realme often compete in this segment, and the Nexal Pad LTE's combination of an 11-inch 90Hz display, LTE, a large battery, and an included keyboard could make it an appealing choice. However, as of now, there is no official confirmation regarding its launch in the Indian market.
